With fixtures piling up and games every 3 days through the Christmas period, to get the results we've had has been fantastic.
Fair to say, none of the fans watching whether home, away or on TV were treated to a spectacle as Crawley, despite being in the bottom 4, set out with a solid game plan to press Blues high and not give us any time on the ball, and the press was deployed successfully as Blues struggled to gain any rhythm.

The guys return to look back at the Birmingham City games against Barnsley, Exeter and Bristol Rovers.
Blues started our first knockout round of the competition brightly, the press working wonders against Exeter's play from the back. Keshi Anderson intercepted a pass early and should've buried his chance, instead firing over the bar from inside the box.
This win against Barnsley was our most uncharacteristic 3 points of the season so far but it's the sort of win that promoted sides get throughout a campaign.

Chris and Matthew return this week to look back at the Birmingham City games against Shrewsbury, Exeter, Blackpool and Stockport.
With Wycombe dropping points against Exeter a day prior, our first home game in a month presented an opportunity to make up ground on their excellent run.
Down in Devon for the first of two trips to Exeter City this calendar year, Blues needed a response to a dismal performance and result against Shrewsbury on the weekend.
