Since our last report, Blues have continued our form through two cups and the league, and went into arguably the toughest away game of the season 14 games unbeaten.
Blues have blown a Wigan side away that don't concede many goals, and have been handed a Brucie bonus with Blackpool's last minute equaliser against Wycombe taking us top of the league table once more.
Both sides came into the game with injury problems, and the much discussed final Stockport game for Louie Barry didn't materialise, yet both sides put on a battle of a game.
With fixtures piling up and games every 3 days through the Christmas period, to get the results we've had has been fantastic.
Fair to say, none of the fans watching whether home, away or on TV were treated to a spectacle as Crawley, despite being in the bottom 4, set out with a solid game plan to press Blues high and not give us any time on the ball, and the press was deployed successfully as Blues struggled to gain any rhythm.

The guys return to look back at the Birmingham City games against Barnsley, Exeter and Bristol Rovers.
Blues started our first knockout round of the competition brightly, the press working wonders against Exeter's play from the back. Keshi Anderson intercepted a pass early and should've buried his chance, instead firing over the bar from inside the box.
This win against Barnsley was our most uncharacteristic 3 points of the season so far but it's the sort of win that promoted sides get throughout a campaign.
